Festivities of Santa María Magdalena 2026 (El Poble Nou de Benitatxell)

El Poble Nou de Benitatxell celebrates its patron-saint festivities of Santa María Magdalena from Sunday 19 July to Saturday 1 August 2026. Almost two weeks of tradition: triduum and processions, presentation of festers, the vertical pyrodigital mascletà on the patron saint’s day (22 July), the Day of the Peñas (Sant Roc) and an intense week of bous al carrer from 26 to 31 July.

Practical information

  • Bous al carrer: from 26 to 31 July, every afternoon around 19:00-19:30 in the car park (Av. València / ctra. de Xàbia), with some early-morning entrances. Follow the instructions of the safety staff.
  • Getting there: from Xàbia or Teulada via the CV-740; no train, access by car.
  • Tip: on the days of the peñas and bous the town fills up; park on the outskirts and walk in.
