Fira Gata al Carrer 2026: 21st edition in Gata de Gorgos

The essentials
The Fira Gata al Carrer (“Gata in the street”) brings Gata de Gorgos’s crafts, food and local shops out onto the street for an October weekend. 2026 is its 21st edition, and this year it lasts three days, taking advantage of the 9 October public holiday.

Opening hours
- Friday 9. Opens in the afternoon. The sources disagree: TV Dénia says from 18:00; La Marina Alta gives 16:00 to 20:00, with the official opening at 19:00 in the Plaça de l’Església. If you go on Friday, you can count on it being open from 18:00.
- Saturday 10. 10:00 to 20:00.
- Sunday 11. 10:00 to 20:00.
Practical tips
- Check the weather forecast. The fair is outdoors: in 2025 it was announced for 11-12 October and postponed to 18-19 October because bad weather was forecast.
- It usually falls on the second weekend of October: in 2024 it was on 12-13 October.
