Setmana del Fang in Orba 2026: 7th edition, 300 years of pottery

The essentials
The Setmana del Fang (“clay week”) celebrates Orba’s pottery. Don’t believe everything you read: the week is not a centuries-old tradition but a recent event, now in its 7th edition in 2026. What is old is pottery-making in Orba, and this year’s edition is dedicated to its 300 years.

Highlights
- Monday 12, 12:00. Opening in the Plaça d’Espanya with the Orba’s Big Band.
- Friday 16, 20:00. Film forum at the Casa de Cultura with the documentary “FANG: La flor de la terra”.
- Sunday 18. Closing day with the Mercat del Fang (clay market) and the Concurs d’Allioli (allioli contest).
Practical tips
- If you can only go one day, make it Sunday 18: that’s when the market and the contest take place.
- For the rest of the week, check the daily programme on the town council website before you go.
- It always falls in mid-October: in 2022 (3rd edition) it ran from 15 to 23 October; in 2024 (5th), 12 to 20; in 2025 (6th), 11 to 19.
