Patron-Saint Festivities of Moraira 2026 (Virgen del Carmen)

Moraira celebrates its patron-saint festivities in honour of the Virgen de los Desamparados and the Virgen del Carmen (patron of fishermen) from Friday 3 to Sunday 19 July 2026. Seventeen days with bous a la mar at the port, floral offering, peñas and the great day of 16 July, with the moving procession by land and sea of the Virgen del Carmen and the Salve Marinera.

• Seafarers’ procession: the most moving event is the procession by land and sea of the Virgen del Carmen, on 16 July at 20:30, with the image aboard a boat and the Salve Marinera.
• Bous a la Mar: in the port enclosure; arrive early.
• Getting there: Moraira, from the AP-7 (exit 63) via the CV-743/CV-745.
